In the inaugural Rubbish magazine fashion annual (check this one out if you can lay your hands on it….it really takes the piss out of the whole fashion thing), they get teenagers to style, shoot and star in their own photoshoot. Teenagers are in that strange place where they want to be individual but don’t have the confidence to go completely against the grain. The thing about most teenagers is that they won’t have been following what’s going on the catwalks avidly or be aware of certain designers so they just go and do their own thing. I think it’s very refreshing!
They all look like they raided the racks of Miss Selfridge if you ask me.
They have such a great sense of personal style. Most teens don’t dress like that and its really nice to see. Wish that magazine was in the states, it would make all the J14 or Seventeen readers drop their jaws 😉

their online version of the magagine doesn’t show much. and i don’t think i can get it here in vancouver canada… but i would like to.
