Now I know models are getting younger and younger but a 10 year old wearing Comme des Garcons and Martin Margiela is a bit much, non? These pics are from the latest Another magazine, shot by Martina Hoogland Ivanow and directed by Alexander McQueen. I think the mood of the photos actually evoke his A/W06/7 catwalk show so he must have been feeling inspired by this romantic, wild, abandonment for a solid period! I may not be modern on this, but I’m quite shocked that a 10 years old can be a model in women magazines, this makes non sens to me.
Let them be little girls with children clothes!

I think you’re missing the point- McQueen seems to me to be drawing a parallel between women’s love of fashion and their little girl days of dress ups.
I was only jesting when I was commenting on it! Of course, I understand the artistic purpose and merit of the editorial. It’s just a tad bizarre seeing these little girls in very forward thinking designers like CdG and Margiela…… it’s a striking contrast.
