Lately, I have been spending a ton of money at Cyber Candy where they stock all manners of Japanese candy – so much so that at work, everyone habitually ask me how old am I, when they see me clutching a box of Pocki. The packaging of all these delectable treats have inspired me to go back to a time when it was acceptable to clash colours, wear trainers with everything and generally not care about what looked cool or not. Mesh that in with some Japanalia and this is what you might get….
Vintage babydoll dress, ballet tights, Nike cream suede high tops // Clements Ribeiro turquoise pinafore dress, Uniqlo pink stripy top, ballet tights, Topshop flat boots
Pringle pale pink cardigan, H&M shirt, Traffic People skirt, grey cotton tights, hot pink knitted scarf, pink perforated flats // Vaudeville & Burlesque print trenc coat, All Saints pale pink top, multi-coloured pepper print skirt, grey cotton tights, vintage moccasins
Vintage polka dot blue t-shirt, H&M pink print skirt, Tabio pink sparkly socks, blue ballet flats, Sailor Moon plush purse // Pig print multi-coloured t-shirt, vintage braces, Topshop denim skirt w/ pockets, Sugar floral print boots, Breadman blue patent purse
