Walking home past this charity shop on my high street, something always catches my eye and everytime, I do a double drat because a) the shop is closed by the time I get home and b) the shop is not open when I leave the house….grrr…. so gone is the vintage Ungaro leather bag, gone is the Rick Owens-esque oversized leather jacket, gone are the Dorothy ruby red glitter platforms and probably this strapless prom dress that has this ruched paper applique texture and huge dots will go too. It’s funny that I’m not keen on teensy tiny polka dots but huge giant ones = love love love. The pink and green also just about finishes off the overall tackiness of the dress. That’s delicious tackiness by the way, not heinously wrong tackiness.

Which charity shop is it?
Sounds like a great haunt – it’s in London right?
Similar to the giles deacon gold for new look collection pink and black polka dot dress but waay prettier. 🙂 What a pretty dress
North London Hospice! Yup, it’s in North London (duh!)
Thanks Susie, will have a look on a map where that is (I live in London but can’t navigate myself down Oxford Street)…
