>>I know, I know… it's WAY too early to be A/W09-10 boot searching but I've been intrigued by the start up of Omelle and its rise to shoe newbie fave status and wanted to see more beyond their striking S/S 09 collection. Like Finsk or Nicholas Kirkwood, it seems the shoe newbies are keen to establish their signature heel that they can then build upon. Omelle has their rounded wooden fin shaped heel with a metal top which is a cross between something sturdy and delicate. The designs for A/W 09-10 are more robust than their architectural S/S 09 shoes with many a bootie option and I particularly like that they used a button string tie envelope closure as a motif… they're the most satisfying envelopes to open afterall…

I loved this collection when I saw it at Première Classe. And if Imelda Matt says that things are starting to warm up for them, we must believe it!

Yes…these shoes are so amazingly cool. I love the subtle fur detailing not so much the knit. The heels are killer!!!
The first word that comes to mind in seeing this collection is ‘rustic’… I like a lot! Very interesting with the heel and knits.
I can’t decide if I like that hexagonal pattern or if that texture creeps me out.. Hmm..
