>> A post in the Beauty School Dropout category!?! On a Friday no less. Well, actually i cheated and grabbed this pic that just went up on the Dazed fashion team Blog. Nails extraordinaire Teresa Smith is doing someone's nails for a shoot in the office and beauty numpty that I am, I asked about the matt, chalky looking, nail polish shown here. I'll 'fess up now and say I'm SHIT when it comes to product names etc and I guess this is common knowledge to most but these are by Knockout Cosmetics, from their Flatte range of nail polishes, the famous one being the black that Karen O is a fan of. Errr…. just puked up knowledge that I don't really know anything about… I just want Love Hearts-textured/coloured nails….
Flatte Wot?
Wowee! Those are some long talons!
Wow great matte colors!
Karen O’s matte black nails have been the only black nails I have actually wanted since 1987.
Love this!!!

x’s
do you know if you can you get them in the uk?
ooh love the colours, saw the colour first, then how long the nails were.
Essie’s SS09 range is matte. How and ever matte nail polish chips almost instantly.
Love those colors. I have just discovered Susie Bubble.

The colors are summer cool. I can’t stand talons though.
robin’s egg blue nails! i would love… except i don’t like the feeling of wearing nail polish, for some reason i can feel my pulse under my nails whenever i get my nails polished and it creeps me out big time, which is odd because i’m a freak about keeping the toes are polished perfectly, and there’s no pulse feeling there.
does this comment go in the too much information category? probably. sorry ’bout that.
this is sooo 80s!
This looks sooo cutee!
I want those colours!!
Despite the fact that I have pathetic excuses for nails
i love those. they’re like candies. i like the shape too.
I love chalky matte nail polish <3 really, I'm planning on blogging about matte lacquer soon. I just bought a light pink one, a bit lighter than the pink color from above and I'm not sure if I should apply a top coat (once I put it on, that is)...it really does look like chalk, no glossiness at all. I'm also planning to buy a light blue color that looks just like the one shown!
never heard of Knockout though... š but maybe it's not available in America?
WOAH. i adore the colour! but the length freaks me out.
Oh… I still prefer classic french manicure to those, kind of nasty, witch-like claws.
the nails are so long, but i like the nail varnish
