Personally, I’m not really a girly girl and even though I do wear skirts most of the time, I still don’t see myself as ULTRA feminine. As the ‘new androgyny’ thing is very much in fashion these days, I’m definitely seeing the subtlety and sexiness in wearing a loose cut trouser suit or adding ‘boy’ touches like braces, a tie or a pair of brogues.
However, I have discovered you can take it one step further and share clothes with guys. No, I’m not talking about borrowing your boyfriend’s sweater or belting up his jeans (though both are very handy sometimes!). I am talking about the unisex label Von Sono. I have noticed quite a lot of guys and girls in London looking slightly effeminate and androgynous respectively and this designer seems to have the look down to a tee. Yet neither sex look like they’re trying to go for their opposite sex’s specific look and hence it doesn’t come off looking unnatural.

Of course, for the purists, there are also some lovely dresses and other girly ensembles (though I suppose some guys could pull those off as well!). Admittedly, this unisex look is not something that I could do on an everyday basis but….well…it just looks so damn cool, doesn’t it?
