You know when magazines mysteriously leave out prices because it’s either a) too vulgar to talk about money since fashion is a form of art darling or b) the prices are so high that they’d shock the bejesus out of readers – well, some like to tell it as it is. I spotted this Strenesse Gabriele dress in Grazia (my new weekly guilty fix to replace Heat magazine….) and I boo-hooed all the way to work because alas it’s £690. I have a thing for gloriously garish, colourful florals. Call me un-cool, call me a granny but a big cabbage rose print floral like that just cries out to me. It also has this slightly crumpled texture so as to not look so prim and proper. Of course, knowing me, I probably would do everything to try and de-girlify the dress but I’m the sort of person who takes joy in wearing dresses in incorrect ways.

Oh that’s a great dress- I’m a cardi girl, so the belted cardigan over top makes it even more gorgeous to me!
