I’m sorry I didn’t get to cover the last A/W catwalk shows on the blog so this is probably all a bit old hat to you guys. But Central St. Martins graduate Molly Grad really impressed me in the MA show during London Fashion Week. Grad terms her collection ‘demi-couture’ and you can really see why from the clothes with the beautiful detailing, exaggerated silhouettes whilst still retaining a sense of functionality. Her clothes are being featured in magazines like Mixmag, Paris Vogue and most recently, this month’s Dazed & Confused. In fact, D&C hints at big things in Grad’s future as they report ‘she has very exciting news’ which she can’t divulge because it hasn’t been confirmed yet. Such an ambiguous statement but definitely something to keep me alerted. I would most definitely watch this space.
