Just to illustrate my earlier post about mistaken labels, here’s a little anecdote to make you chuckle. At a recent dinner given in honour of the designer Narciso Rodriguez, a person on the UK Times fashion team wore a white grosgrain coat with a purple ribbon. Rodriguez, enquired ‘Marc Jacobs?’ whilst inspecting the M’s on the buttons, ‘Marni? Miu Miu?’. Errrr…..no actually Narciso….it’s MANGO! Costs £130 – grab em’ while you can!

its funny that two of your latest posts have struck a chord: i was checking the shorter version of this jacket out in mango yesterday in copenhagen.
and i have been playing with my red lipsticks for a couple of days now, trying to pluck up the courage to wear it out.
how does one absorb style vibes or zeitgeist, by osmosis or through the ether or something? because i have been avoiding magazines for a few months now . . .
MANGO = MNG…
a cheaper alternative

That coat is nice, and yes, it has that designer quality. Oh, The next 2 hours I will go to mango to search for black shirtdress and a white chain bag! It inspires me after i browse the website 🙂
