Day in, day out, I don’t normally plan my outfits in advance unless it’s a special occasion or if I’m going on holiday. For London Fashion Week however, I actually need to think about exactly what I’m going to be wearing because I’ll also be going back and forth between shows and the office. Big bags will come in handy everyday holding shoes, accessories etc. It could all go terribly wrong, planning meticulously like this and knowing me, I’ll suddenly feel like going with something else in the last minute. Nonetheless, it needs to be done so here is a premature rough-ish plan of my outfits for the week. Part of the outfit can be converted into officewear with different styling so hopefully, I won’t have to do too many outfit changes in a day.
Monday
H&M tartan fabric flower vest (some of you did ask how I was going to wear it!)
Uniqlo grey t-shirt
iing Loo cream wool dress with clip on straps (will wear with an Oxford shirt underneath for work)
Three skinny belts from H&M, Dorothy Perkins & Miss Selfridge (like a trio of high street cheapness)
John Lewis light grey cotton tights
Comme des Garcons x Repetto gold ballet flats.
Monday Night (going to a party afterwards!)

iing Loo cream dress as before but dragged down and with straps clipped onto the slip dress
Vintage blue lace trimmed slip dress
Dorothy Perkins black snakeskin belt around bust
H&M grey swirly floral tights
Topshop grey wedges with elasticated strap
Vintage black and white checked shawl
Tuesday

Kulture black shiny sweater with ruched sleeves
Hermes scarf tied as belt
Topshop chain necklace
Cream cotton tulip skirt with oversized pockets from Hong Kong
H&M light grey woolen leggings
Salvatore Ferragamo black bow pumps (cunningly working in boring work shoes into outfit)
Chanel bag
Vintage black leather cap
Vintage grey jersey dress with pleated skirt
Vintag green canvas and tan leather double strapped belt
Vintage leather gauntlet gloves
Black opaque ribbed tights
Leather velcro strap spats from Spitalfields
Faith brown brocade wedges
Thursday
Grey knitted slouchy hat
Topshop Boutique burnt amber silk shirt
Muji boxpleated A-line skirt worn high up
Urban Outfitters black patent belt
Grey velvet tights
Miu Miu pink platforms with black gems
Friday
Vintage cream knitted hat
Muji light grey oversized silk sweater
American Apparel navy tank
H&M checked blue and cream mini skirt
Sophia Kokosalaki white pleated skirt
Yohji Yamamoto wide legged washed silk pants
Tabio grey legwarmers
Blue patent flats from Hong Kong

I’m loving tues, wed and thurs outfits and friday’s outfit looks sooo cosy!! Hope you have a good week at LFW!!
One of the first times on your blog… wow, I have to say I’m a bit… “surprised” by your look. Kind of special.
But I’m not into fashion neither maybe that’s why I don’t really get it ๐
I like your blog anyway!
i have to say thursday and friday’s are my faves. too cute ๐
LOVE Thursday
absolutly fantasticc
Love Tuesday’s outfit, although I think Monday’s tights would suit it best (I’m still not sold on the footless tights/leggings thing ;).
And can I just say – I freaking LOVE that H&M flower vest! Millions couldn’t wear it – heck, BILLIONS couldn’t – but you make it look too cool for school ๐
my fav outfits:
monday day – i always suspected the vest looks better on than hanging on the hanger!
friday – i wouldn’t be brave enough to wear pants like those, but i love the h&m skirt
I love Friday and Monday night, very chic.
*Thursday and Monday night
hey! ive reading your blog since well, forever. i love what you write, and i really enjoy your views , your perspective on not only clothes but wearable art. (ha!)
if i ever get the time (and the scanner!) ill scan an article in which you, or well your blog, was featured in a magazine article, here , in the very buenos aires , argentina. never stop posting pics , ever. ha.
are we allowed to give opinions on your outfits?
i think they rock, honestly. but i think that:
– the h&m leggings dont look pretty with the tuesday outfit. i think the grey just doesnt go with that aesthetic, id wear black see through tights(the ones thar are like “thin”), or black tights with little drawings, i dont know how they are called.
– and the thursday outfit (GOD how i lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve those miu miu shoes, ive been waiting since the day you posted the pics to see them in an ensemble) i would go with a different colour of shirt. cause those platforms, god, i could see dita von teese wear them. they are god.
well , i love your blog susie. and if i ever come to london youll have to take me vintage shopping.
(L)
LOL, in my opinion, you’re like the master of coordination. love every single outfit.
I love Monday night and Thursday!
I adore the Monday day outfit (maaaybe sans the vest, but I am not a vest-wearer),Thursday’s outfit, and Friday’s sweater and pants.
Smart of you to plan outfits…
Dropping by to say that i *heart* your blog;and check it every day(when i can! It’s smart of you to plan your outfits, i do it all the time too! Good thinking! As for your outfits, they’re pretty cool (i love Thursday!), but unfortunately some of them are looking a little bag-lady-esque to me…and i don’t like Tuesday’s tights with that outfit either. I hope it doesn’t seem mean to say that…
Anyway, have fun dashing between fashion shows and work, you totally lucky girl!
Aargh.
hey, I am very interested in your “ups services”
but i cannot find your email for the life of me.
anyway, if you could contact me sometime
aim: day oo5
email: ehwang3@student.gsu.edu
thank you =]
I just wanted to clear up that I do see your link to email you, but I can’t actually see your email.
I didn’t want you to think I was a totally moron.
P.S love your blog.
Wow I love that outfit with the amber silk blouse from Topshop! You are rockin’ that outfit. I was just wondering if the thin black belt was supposed to stick out like that- if not- you could loop it on a black hair tie or something to let it stay put to the contours of your body.
I think the last day outfit is bad! It’s too many layers and kinda make ya look fat/ out of proportion.
Thursday is the best.
you’re style is absolutely adorable. I’m loving tuseday, wednesday, & thursday.
I can’t wait for your updates during LFW. ๐
i absolutely love THURSDAY! ๐
Thanks for all the comments guys.
Thursday seems to be ahot fave. I’m still deciding on whether to add more hot pink because the shoes do look a bit random like Antonia pointed out.
The H&M leggings are just something that I wanted to wear…. I’m going on a black footless tights fast since you see.
Elisa: My email address is twinkle260@hotmail.com – just click on the email me link!
Aliesa: Funnily enough, bag-lady is precisely a phrase I’d use to describe my style! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I like drinking that tea!
Sam: The belt is supposed to wrap around, just couldn’t find a hair tie to secure it – new house still in a bit of a mess!
Val: I’m all about looking out of proportion and fat… no joking! I do sometimes wear outfits that aren’t entirely flattering but I just wear them for the love of it.
Love it! Love all of it! My style is never that adventurous but that’s it, you’ve convinced me. The layering, the shapes, but what I love the most are the colours. It just shows you don’t have to wear ‘wacky’ to look original, and that you don’t have to wear all black to be tasteful. I hope you don’t mind if I shamelessly plagiarise look #3.
you should do this more often, weekly outfits. that h&m-garment you bought recently looks good! i didnยดt understand it at first. didn’t know if it was a vest or what. anyway…nice pictures, susie!
i loooove wednesday’s!!
i love wednesday’s and thursday’s outfits. I especially like your iing loo cream wool dress. it kinda makes me wish i have one or will ever find one here (as if that isn’t a hopeless task!) anyway, have fun at LFW and post some pix here!
I LOVE the spats.. been looking for a pair for ages. Also, the Miu Miu shoes are spectacular. Thank you for posting your inspirational outfits!
cool outfits.
which shows are you going to? I went to the John Rocha today and was a little disapointed but am trying to get hold of some tickets to the off schedule shows like Kaviar gauche.
Have fun whatever
Loveee the outfits! I do the same thing! I actually just bought this(https://www.seejanework.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=537) planner last night and I’m hoping it will help me get more organized but like you, I’ll probably end up changing my mind at last minute anyways!
looking good susie! have fun! also, i’m glad you’ve got a clearer mirror or better lighting now.
Hey Susie,
I’m loving your outfits & all the exclamations that everyone has reiterated before me. I’m happy for you that you get the opportunity to attend so many LFW shows (and quite jealous that you get to go to Jean Pierre-Braganza, one of the shows that I’m most looking forward to during LFW, aside from the usual suspects like Giles Deacon, Preen etc.) I’m gazillion miles from being remotely as fashionable as you are, but (if you don’t mind my suggestion) I think Monday’s outfit would maybe look better without the headband… but I could be gravely mistaken! The outfit already looks very good!… Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic time at LFW, and take lots of photos (especially of JP-B! ๐
wow- LOVE love love that Thursday look. You always have the best outfits!
hey fellow asian-londoner. you’re doing the hong kong-ers proud by being a stand-out! i’m a guy, but i’m hooked on your site. I’m also really excited for the viktor+rolf collaboration with H&M. Hopefully London’s full of (UN)-stylish guys who know nothing about fashion…so i’ll have NO queue at all. Hee. Cheers and keep on doing your thang.
Regards,
b.
oh susie, the master that you are!
Thursday is the standout for me, though i love the MJ-inspired look of Friday as well…
Looking great susie! I hope I see you out and about during LFW
Very nice!!!so lovely (L)
sorry, it’s really awful
