My black sequins obsession has come to a lull I think. I may have momentarily bought up the world’s stock of black sequinned garments. Or I have come across too many similar black sequinned items and have simply exhausted the diversity. I may go loopy once again once I see different shapes sequins, of the oversized pailette variety or the square/rectangular sort (black plastic fringing…yes… no…I’m thinking yes and hoping black sheets of polypropeleyne will do the trick…). Until then, I’m contemplating a move over to ROBOT:SILVER:SEQUIN mode when I clapped my eyes on this jacket from new-ish vintage accessories site Love-Worn. Seeing as I’ve got enough black boyish blazers, the fact that this gem is knitted makes me justify buying something that is in fact a shinier, more encrusted version of my Karl Lagerfeld for H&M. The mind is allowed to wander though seeing as physical shops are so far beyond my reach (I’m beginning to forget what is the layout of Kingly Court on Carnaby Street….that’s pretty poor…).

Don’t get me wrong, I love it, especially since it’s knitted, but isn’t it more black/dark neutral than gray? It seems to be one of those colors that changes under different lights.

…I somehow feel though that sequined articles of clothing get too distracting under full light. I seemingly like them under dimly lighted places. I guess it looks more dramatic for my taste. haha

this jacket it scaring me. please, if you buy it, wear it so that it rids the images of a lame magician in my head.
The colour and the shedes of red are pretty. But the actual shape of the garmet is a bit too sharp for me.
