The Reminder…

This is a post that benefits noone apart from me.  The Topshop lookbooks have been all over the shop and really seeing as I've already done a Topshop S/S 09 sneaky peek, this is sort of shamelessly repetitive.  However, I'm actually doing a selfish post, not for you lovelies but to remind me of my own picks.  When shoes drop at different times through  the season, you start to forget what you saw all the way back in November at the previews.  The memory is starting to fade a little and my shoddy pictures certainly didn't help.  So clear lookbook images like these certainly jolt the memory a bit.  The shoe reminder is especially needed because I do without fail buy at least a pair every season.  Yup, Topshop shoe whore I am.  I walk well in them, they last a few years and the designs always appeal.  Simple as.  Oh woe is me for being so predictable.

Anyhow…at a glance, these are the ones that must be checked out/tried on and possibly bought… Topshop Unique ones are quite obvious (especially keen on clashing Barbie pink with the lilac) as are the Boutique ones…

The reminder must also be pounded to finally go for these Emma Cook boots… the black versions which I have seen on about ten different people in real life and about twenty on the blogs.  The thing is last season, I was waiting out and thinking I might luck out and procure the lace/mesh versions which were alas made for the catwalk and not for sale.  Now these boots are being produced in peach or white, I'm thinking I can't wait any longer… peach it is!

  4. Those peach boots…man!!!
    These are all excellent shoe picks (the last sandal reminds me of the vintage Ferragamos with the really high rainbow platform), but my heart goes out to those boots.

  5. Ooh!! Major shoe lust!!! I like them all but unfortunately they don’t tend to make the unique/boutique shoes in my size!! Might have to try to squeeze my big feet in the Emma Cook boots though!!!

  6. Oh my! The Emma Cook boots in peach are just too cute! Love ’em! The first two pairs (Givenchy white copies & the grey ruffled pair) are also very tempting…

    and yes you need those emma cook boots in your life! i’m convinced they’re destroying my feet as I wear them at least 5 days a week (boring, me?) but they just have an edge over every other pair.

  9. the peach emma cook boots and the lilac boutique ones are fantastic, I have to say topshop boutique just keeps getting better and better, I think everything in their SS09 collection has been their best ever.

  10. i am SO there with the peach pair, i’ve been ebay hunting the boots after finding i just don’t gravitate to my flat docs because they’re so heavy, pinks all the way this spring

    I can’t wait til the cobalt blue and lilac unique ones are out..they are exquisite with those architectural heels! The ones with the snakeskin platform remind me of nicholas kirkwood’s work. And of course the emma cook boots are..i’m speechless.

  25. How good are those peach boots????? I like the look of those powder blue ones as well but for some reason I have always found Topshops shoes unwalkable.

  28. oh my god…they say imitation is a form of flattery but this is too much! i see givenchy, christian louboutin for phillip lim, gucci, balenciaga upper meets miu miu heel and dolce&gabbana ss09 chunky platforms in those shoes :)))
