If there wasn't the neon sign pointing out that this was a shoot entirely dedicated to DKNY, I'd erm…wouldn't guess it was DKNY at all.  Now there's a clunky opener.  I know I know, a bit of a job plug as Pierre Debusschere, the photographer made a video accompanying the shoot which is already up on Dazed Digital.  I am intrigued though by the UV make-up, the entire scenario and how from an admittedly electric/poppy S/S 09 collection, this concept even arose.  I'm even more impressed how the shoot hasn't come off looking like a dodgy Cyber Dog advert…

  1. Of course, DKNY is nothing new or conceptual, but I actually quite like it. The ads are always very nice, these included.

  2. These are simply divine, I remember going to an exhibition with uv writing ‘hidden’ on clothing. A beautiful concept that was excently executed.

  3. wow…different. In a good way, though. very good way. reminds me of when I broke a lightstick and it splattered all over my pajamas, but much more fashionable.

  4. Definitely a very surprising look from DKNY, but a good surprise!
Oh and I thought any English readers might get stupidly excited by the mention of ‘Girl Talk’; I used to have an archive of it to contend with the fash mags collection of many style bloggers… but I threw it all out 🙁
