>> No, I'm not still loitering around Paris. Instead I'm in Tokyo and posting the filler that was meant to go up during Paris Fashion Week. It's a sad state of affairs indeed when I can't even find time to post 'filler' during a fashion week. It's also mildly confusing posting this in the morning and knowing that it's going up at around 2am in the morning over in the UK. Still you can only expect erratic behaviour from me when the amount of time zone switching I'm doing is causing me to have up to five meals a day and fall into odd sleeping patterns.
I thought I'd hark back to my two 'fancier' moments during Paris Fashion Week where i didn't look like I was sweating through my clothes because finally towards the end of the week, it cooled down and all hail me revelling in layers, the substance and foundations of the months to come…
I'm forever grateful to Dree of Create that Style for sending me this Lanvin bolero, completing a tale of my ordering it from her when she used to own vintage online store The URBAN Collection (OH MY DAYZ that was LOnnnnnG TIME) around 2-3 years ago. Both USPS and Royal Mail failed us and it hasn't been able to get to me until this year…
(Vintage Lanvin bolero, Marni t-shirt, vintage Hermes trenchcoat, John Rocha frilly culottes, Miu Miu shoes, 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli tote)
The pink and green paisley is quite literally FANCY because as it happens, it's by a young Chinese designer based in Shanghai who erm… decided to call her label FANCY SHIT. To each their own I guess. Likewise, I'm going to see a show in a few days by a label called Plumpynuts. I suppose there's no danger of misspelling names. This is also a big-up to a knitted lurex cardigan and matching flares from Topshop which I picked out for my EDIT. It's no longer online but the outfit has served me well through fashion week raising disbelief from people when I say it's Topshop, which I think is a fairly good measurement of high street triumph…
(Topshop lurex cardigan and flared trousers, FANCY SHIT paisley blazer, J.W. Anderson paisley top with latex collar, vintage shoes, 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli tote)
Both photographs by Phil Oh of Streetpeeper
LOVE the paisley blazer 8)))) and the pantsuit!

Love your outfit, and I do want to say, that your posts have really inspired me in finding myself. You see there were times back when I was in school, people would make fun of certain outfits I would wear, and say negative comments all the time, on the fashion world. But with a little help from some good friends and your blog, I have been able to ignore that and follow what I love and be myself.

I love the bolero on the first picture, such a brave style you have..I love it!
I’m not complaining, I’m happy to see this post any time π I love both of the outfit, such a gorgeous skirt. I’m very inspired by both looks. Love from Carolinas Couture
Such a surprise to see you wearing heels that I just can’t take my eyes of the first photo. Still, while I adore that vintage Lanvin bolero, it’s the second outfit that I would wear in a heartbeat!
It’s seems you have a thired trip to Paris and the two photos are so beautiful, like youre outfit very much!
I love the second outfit. it’s so quirky, so you! I love Topshop, but the thing about it is that you have to spend a lot of time in the store because there are too many things (and too many people around). But next time I’m in London I’ll try to save a couple of hours for it…Thank you for the inspiration Susie!
You looked gorgeous in both outfits, but the 1st actually took my breath away. The shoes are too DIE for!
The first outfit is magic, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I have fallen in love with taht bolero.

wow, those shoes are so decadent in the first look, especially with the frills and thrills of the layers of skirt and jacket. incredible.
love your blog and this outfit is amazing!http://msfashionstreet.blogspot.com/
That Lanvin bolero was certainly worth waiting for. Those are some awesome shoes you’ve paired it with; the whole outfit is just fabulous. Your outfit combos inspire me to try pairing things in ways I wouldn’t have tried before.
Um, LOVE the first outfit – the way you’ve put it all together! The second outfit isn’t any less a manifestation of brilliance, though – the patterns! And I’m loving flares right now…
The second look is so comfi, and the first is just wow. Wouldn’t really expect it on you, but it looks amazing!
