Crazy Dress Up

I get days when I just really want to turn up the crazy levels and just go completely off the rails with my outfits.  When I push the boundaries, somehow, I find out new ways of making things work on real-life practical level.  It’s like trying on things you initially think will be the most madcap idea in the world but then discovering ‘Hey…that actually looks pretty cool….. ok, Saturday outfit sorted!’.  I have a limited wardrobe to actually go truly crazy (my dream is to go play dress-up at Angels costumes) but yesterday, with some more free time than usual, I just indulged in some quality ‘Go mad time’ with hats, masks and big dresses.  A rather fun way of passing a rainy day.

Vintage blue and white t-shirt, Vivienne Westwood cream linen corset dress, red, blue & black obi sash belt, blue leather ballet pumps // Vivienne Westwood black draped dress w/ crochet sleeves, oyster satin skirt underneath, black sequin wide belt, Charles David pointy black kitten heels

  1. susie you always amaze me:) you come up with all these brilliant ideas, you mix things together like noone else and you always seem to get it right!! how do you do it??! all i do is fashion disasters when i try making comlex combinations. hm..of course i have improved but i think i still need a lot of practice:P i have a question: did u always get it right? or was there any time of your life when you commited serious fashion crimes?:P

  5. Hi! I found out ya blog from Teen Vogue and I love it! Love the pics of yourself and crazy outfits. I really wish I have that amount of wardrobe.

  6. On the basis that you know more about fashion than me, could you possibly do a post explaining how one ought to pronounce such tricky names as Givenchy, Balenciaga, Ghesquiere etc? I’m not quite sure, and know I’d look stupid if I got it wrong… As a kid I thought it was Ver-sayss, to rhyme with ‘place’…

  7. It was by googling the pretty ballerinas that I found your blog. I adore ballerinas and I enjoyed your contribution. So, I just wanted to let you know that your blog is read by a Serbian woman in Belgrade. Keep up the good fashion…
