COS You’re Worth It

>> "COS GOT GOOD and I AM WORTH IT!" is my all new football-chant that I'm shouting down from my Emirates-proximate balcony.  I wish I could articulate rhythm and diction through writing as it does read a little funny.

The point is, I came, I saw, I bought – I no longer have those cheeky lunch-hour break shopping trips that a lot of people benefit from working in Central London – instead I snuck off to the COS around my hotel in Berlin and started chanting excitedly in my head and leaping upon the new season goodies that have come in.  In particular, I attacked this padded grey sweater that is like neoprene upon touch, but is actually cotton padded with polyester.  It's sort of a nod to the neoprene Balenciaga A/W 10-11 wordplay dresses and jumpers and in a way, I prefer the COS version just because it's an abstract doodle rather than lettering coursing all over the front.  There are the usual nods to Marni, Jil Sander and Celine in the new A/W stock that COS manage to do in their own subtle way with a great use of palette too.  I'll be popping in and out to check out new deliveries on a regular basis.

I still wish that COS would get with the programme and launch an e-commerce website so that people from non COS-ified countries get to have some fun with this stuff.  Speaking of Balenciaga, their spanking new website complete with full e-commerce offering is astonishingly good.  I'll even forgive the slow-loading times because the absolute ABUNDANCE of archive, campaign and collections imagery is worth it.  Back to COS though… it's got to be a certainty that e-commerce is on the cards… let's hope so.  You know… COS you're worth it…

  1. COS can do no wrong! That jumper is to drool for!
Love the brand and yes, I hope they would either launch an e-store or a store in my home country! I was stuck in Berlin store for hours in my last visit… 🙂

  2. I also love that they have proper sales, straight to 50% on the first day. This also means you have to be fast or the good stuff is gone, but I don’t mind 🙂
I did have the feeling they had way more stuff in Berlin than here (was in the ku’damm store 2 weeks ago, it was large for a COS store)

  3. I love the sweater! It looks so comfortable. And so cute. I wish they had stores in the US! I hadn’t heard of them until you posted this. Great pics!

  4. I love how you’re always able to relate the different topics on trend, or at least the ones that i have been quering for…plus your outfit posts make me happy. Have a good summer girl!

  5. At first I was admiring the dress and I was sitting in here thinking where in the world I will be able to find something similar but then the more I read and the more I see it is two seperate pieces. I love the top a lot.
