Who is just a tad tired of the whole scenester chic thing? The way these people dress to look different but end up all looking exactly the same? Conversely, who here cannot relate to the MTV sex bunny generation? Who here genuinely finds dancing like a bad RnB video extra, bumping and grinding actually appealing?
Well, if you yearn for something a little more innocent, a hark back to an age where men asked you to dance instead of siddling up to you and grabbing your ass, then you’re in luck. There seems to be a wave of retro themed club nights and activities happening all over London. Since vintage is pretty much a fixture in most of our wardrobes now, why not take that vintage attitude and apply it to our nightlife.
Lady Luck, the club night held every last Thursday of the month is a 50’s jive night that gives every girl an excuse to REALLY dress up. I’m talking about serious glam rags.
‘Dress Code: Lounge Lizzard, Pimp and Hoe, Vintage Uniform, Gangster, Rockabilly, Teddyboy, Mod, Dinnersuits, Ballgowns, EXPLORE YOUR FANTASIES’
Well, these people certainly didn’t take the dress code half-heartedly.
