>> Say the name Hannah Martin and my mind is cast to lofty and precious pieces where there's no limit to where craftsmanship and along with that price can go, so long as Martin creates jewellery that stands the test of time.

"In direct reaction to todayโ€šร„รดs culture of over-production and over-consumption, the belief at Hannah Martin is to make products that are clearly well crafted, and of the finest quality.  Flying in the face of seasonal, over-branded (and overly-fast) goods, the focus has been and always will be, on a strong design identity embodied in the integrity of high-end materials," says Martin's website.

She may need to slightly tweak that paragraph though as she has just launched HN SHOW, a line that will be seasonal and is going to be cheaper than her main line offering.  It is now available to buy on Hannah Martin's website and features five iconic shapes that are signature to Martin that have been powder coated in colours that come as slightly unexpected and even vaguely retro when paired with the right imagery.  She intends to design a new HN Show line each season as well as hopefully working with designers on catwalk pieces that can have the capacity to be temporal and seasonal, whilst still retaining Martin's design traits.

  1. Interesting how so many jewelery designs have razor sharp edges. Maybe the other commentary on our culture is we want a go-to weapon in case somebody invades our personal space?
