>> “Get rich or eat peanuts”. There’s a snappy collection title that grabs the attention. It’s also the perfect summation for Marisa Jiwi Seok’s debut jewellery collection for her label Jiwinaia. Seoul-born Seok graduated from Central Saint Martins but is now based in Milan, where all Jiwinaia pieces are made. Jiwinaia has slowly bur surely been doing the “cool girl” rounds on Instagram with good reason. It’s bling with smiley zing. Peanuts feature of course in their in-shell form. So do flames, smiley faces, pot leaves and clouds making this collection a surefire Insta-hit on the count of its emoji credentials. I love the way the kitsch factor is dialled down by its arrangement, pitting pearl against peanut in a ring or round crystals with matchsticks. A N.E.R.D. song lyric “I can make your storm feel sky blue” also makes its way onto a thin text bangle. After previous posts of a thousand plus words, there’s not too much to expand on here other than you should watch out for the launch of Jiwinaia‘s e-commerce site. The pieces don’t exactly cost peanuts but they’re definitely on the affordable scale of things.

I don’t normally comment but I can’t say how much I love these pieces, haven’t been obsessed with a label for quite some time. It’s more adventurous and so spot on compared to other labels that explore similar ideas..ie cheerful blings, levelled up tongue-in-cheek pieces like those by Alison Lou and the likes. The designer herself is also such a personality, she’s got some serious taste in personal style. Love Love LOVE <3 I'm so excited for this line! Eyes on the flame clip on earrings, bottle top necklace, female smile necklace, peanut earrings and necklace and I'm being super modest with my selection already….
The accessories are looking very pretty, mostly the necklaces are looking very prettier and trendy. According to my opinion adding some hair accessory will looks more trendy.
