I’ve never been one to take a chance and enter competitions are enter lotteries. Sayings like ‘It COULD be you’ or ‘It COULD happen’ are just lost on me. Hey, don’t get me wrong, I entered my fair share of Blue Peter competitions (I did get a gold Blue Peter badge once) as a kid but cynical me find the odds stacked too much against me to even contemplate the effort.
However, the very wee and ickle chance of winning ¬£4750 worth of stuff from Yoox, though a distant dream and a hell of a long shot is worth trying for simply because Yoox-browsing is terribly gratifying. To celebrate Yoox’s 7th anniversary, between the 12th and 18th of June, all you have to do is fill up you Dream Box with all your coveted Yoox things and on the 20th, 7 winners will be chosen to receive your Dream Box contents up to the value of ¬£4750. With two hours to spare, I had my intended ¬£4750 worth of goods chosen and totted up (well it came to ¬£4757 to be exact…) and ready for the gods to shine on me and hopefully come the 20th, a congratulatory email will be winging my way from Yoox. Ha! As if….
Oh well, as I said, it’s always fun to get click-happy on Yoox anyway and merely look at a collage of things I COULD be wearing. Gosh…that word ‘COULD’ is pretty awful isn’t it?

It’s funny you should ask but it was issued by mistake! I won this competition for designing a poster for the Olympics and was supposed to get an orange badget but was sent a gold one instead. I didn’t really think it was a mistake but just thought the colour was a little off. I was actually in HK at the time and didn’t really grasp the full meaning/significance of a gold badge…..

I’m always dreaming away at Yoox, adding things to my dreambox even though I know I’m never going to be able to buy them. Well, most of them anyway. I’ve ordered some stuff in the past. But when I order even one thing from that website, that’s like a huge investment for me.

Hmm..from what I read of the rules of this contest, it sucks! If your items are sold out by the time the contest prize is to be given away, then you are out that item. As we all know, the items sell out quickly at Yoox, and basically you could be left with nothing.
