As we speak, the whole team at the house of Christian Dior will be gearing up for what will probably the most extravagant and complicated-co-ordinated haute couture show as tonight at 8pm (though clearly there’ll be the mandatory late start), the Orangerie at the palace of Versailles, outside Paris will play host to the Christian Dior haute couture FW/07-08 show, a one-off to celebrate Dior’s 60th Anniversary. Whether you’re a fan of Dior headed up by Galliano or not, I think it’s worth valuing the event as the spectacle it will be so yup, tonight, despite being bleary-eyed and exhausted from my trip to Stockholm, I’ll be up all night frantically clicking away at Getty images.
A little location taster has come our way from this person’s Flickr. Unicorns and flowers all remind me a little of Disney’s fantasy land or a very very themed wedding. My feelings of apprehension and curiosity would be why I’ll be up on Getty tonight.
Unrelated P.S: Bear with me whilst I sort out my Stockholm posting material…. for now, all I can say is the area of SoFo in Stockholm treated me well…and thanks 1000 times for all the tips that came through to me.
