>>Coiffure, Free P Star, Frip'irium, King of Frip, Noir Kennedy, Fripes Star… a ton of fripery going on in the Marais in Paris but all I came out with was this EUR5 dress that is the only thing that is stopping me from falling into eternal moo-ness as the Easter Saturday here is so damn grey… with all my other fripe/thrift scarves, my Toga jacket and some freebie Melissa x Vivienne Westwood shoes (still in the flats alas…)… I had to in the wise words of Kris Kross "jump jump".

  1. Woah I love those patterns, and the colour of your shoes! Oh and your jumping picture is awesome (: x

  2. I’m just a tiny bit in love with this scarf dress. The colours are so wonderfully dynamic. And of course, jumping pictures are only the most fun to take 🙂

  3. The freakiest thing just happened, literally just as I was reading the last sentence the ‘Jump’ song started blasting out of the TV. No joke.
On another note, I really like these pictures! One of my favourite outfits yet no doubt, I love your scarves with the dress. The shoes look great as well, I have always been a little dubious about the whole rubber shebang but I am liking them.

  4. AMAZING work on color Susie baby. You’re the queen of layering after all haha. I LOVE/WANT/NEED those Vivienne Westwood shoes so badly.
+love it that you’re smiling it’s too cute!

  6. Everytime I go to Paris, it seems that a new friperie has opened in Le Marais, it is really odd… I kinda wish they were there when I grew up and at the same time I find it sad to see so many old landmarks of my hood disappear and be replaced by friperies!
Thanks for the comment on my blog, it made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

  7. Susie this is such a happy post! Love that dress and what a bargain too! Those Melissa shoes are fab- how comfy are they? I’m a bit dubious concerning plastic shoesies!

  8. Freebies?! So lucky! I bought mine full price whihc is like $125AUS and I’m on a student budget, wawa 🙁 I love the outfit!

  10. Love the cheerful colours you’re donning! I hope at least those lovely flats take your mind off heels for a while 😀

  11. Oh, what a fantastic dress! I love the Marais thriftstores too. Especially one simply called ‘vintage’ (or so I think..) on rue des Rosiers. Of course, the best part is how cheap they all are.
    Ah, Paris nostalgia begins..

  12. I love the color palette of this. The dress is fantastic with all the scarves and the bright shoes.

  13. seeing you smiling makes me so happy!

The colours and prints are stunning. And I think you should wear a ponytail more often, very fresh:)
