Together We Are Beautiful

I don't usually ask people to move in a certain way whilst reading the blog.  You could be suspended from a sex swing swooping down to your laptop for all I care.  But I ask you please, if you are sitting down and you get a moment in your time, press play on the track below, sway your shoulders from side to side, tilt your head if you will and then scroll through these images of Tim Ryan's A/W09 collection.  Please, no quickie skim-read scrolls as we so often do on RSS readers, but both the track and the pictures demand a slow, steady scroll so you can imagine slowly swooshing your sleeves/skirts in these fine fine knitted dresses that Ryan has once again trumped up with…

Never have song lyrics been so true to a collection…

Can't you see, it's the chemistry
You really must agree together we are beautiful
We are so beautiful

Keep swaying and imagine the knitted colourful swoosh…

**EDIT** If you guys don't have a Quicktime plugin on your browser, playing the lower quality YouTube vid will also suffice…

  4. Notice that the all-blue ensembles (especially the one with turtleneck and gathered skirt) are a thrilling combination of Halston and Little Edie.

  6. Thansk for bringing a big smile on my face.
It was one of those rainy mondays in Reykjavík today.
This song made me dance in my living room, pretending it was summer and I was wearing one of those bright blue dresses.
I feel super inspired now =)
Love the song, the collection and your blog.

  7. I’m sure I looked ridiculous but that was FUN! 🙂 I love the first purple one but I’d wear any of them and yes as someone else said – I just want to touch them!

  8. Totally understand the effect! I found myself making up a love story about the model and the man in the song…

  9. Stunning collection, and I think the photographs are by a photographer called David Poole who always does really interesting, beautiful fashion shoots.

  10. I’d love to get (pretend anyways) on a sex swing and swoop down to my laptop but I’m actually pretending to listen to a class lecture while typing down notes in the laptop lol.
Omg I sound so perverted. Ew.
