All Janked Up

>> Sitting in Heathrow at 4am in the morning typing whilst eating a very fake bacon 'toastie' from Costa is just not the same as lazing around watching Saturday Kitchen with a proper bacon sarnie and a cup of tea at home whilst typing a post slowly.  Still, it's off to Vienna go so I must plough on and stop thinking about porkie bi-products so much. 

Yesterday, I had a bit of a Regent Studio sample sale spree, buying up a smorsgboard of Swash loveliness (go go go today or tomorrow, if you're in London…) that I can't wait to take pictures of when the sun decides to shine again… and then at Valery Demure's studio, picking up another Michelle Jank piece, this time in grey, from the same collection as the one the boyf got me for Christmas.  Jersey and acrylic neckpieces are music to my prone-to-rash ears (ALL metals, inc. gold and silver alas…) but it's the striking quality of Jank's pieces that means that wearing just the one piece is enough to add weight to an outfit.  I'm wearing the two together to get that Janked up affair and if I had it my way, I wouldn't have stopped myself at buying the one piece.  Valery is also selling pieces of worn designer clothing (Balenciaga, Ann D, KIND…) and heavily discounted pieces from her directional roster; Borba Margo, Florian and Rowan Mersh…

  1. That’s a very silly hour to be awake indeed miss susie. I hope there’s still plenty of samle sale action for me to partake in when I get to London… Luckily for me, TV are having their sample sale a few days before I head off, so hopefully can snap up some pretty peices for London summer! x

  22. You’ve inspired me to purchase a Michelle Jank piece last month – I found a similiar one to yours in yellow. It probably isn’t as versatile as your grey or black one, but it is still amazing (though mum says it looks like i’m wearing a license plate!).
