Changeling

>> Bright blue to grey in one swift day… was a bit weirded out by the fact that it went from such saturated colours to a dull palette in the space of 24 hours.  That's quite a silly thought seeing as I have lived in the UK for most of my life and should no better…

This Urban Collection vintage denim jacket is a piece that will be accompanying me on more jaunts to the English coastline as well as the EUR5 hat that I bought in Vienna after a bit of helpful haggling…

This Ann Sofie Back x Fred Perry dress will however be staying put in London…where shoulder pads, black and a surprisingly fitted waist and skirt combined with the polo dress material have given me a odd smart/casual hybrid…

  1. Wow, I love your look on the black and white picture. Did you add the shoulder pads? Good idea, normaly I am not into polo dresses.

  2. There’s nothing quite like an English summer – balmy and peaceful one minute then violently spewing hailstones the next!
It’s changeable if nothing else 😉
    Killer boots, I like…x

  3. The first outfit is one of the best seaside ensembles I’ve ever seen. Love the hat and the color choice. xo

  4. oooooooooooooooh9..shoulder pads!
I don’t mind them but my shoulders are tooo broad and if
    my shoulders + shoulder pads = shoulders x 2 = box-like creature

  5. woah loving Ann-Sofie Back’s take on the more traditional silhouette of Fred Perry. very nice!

  6. This weather has made me change my fashion palate. No more hard black and neon brights, it’s all gone soft for me suddenly. I hated grey at first when it was in the shops for summer, but it’s really lovely in this light, with nudes & salmons & beige & really faded short shorts.. love that top photo, it’s so topsy turvy, ironic English seaside.. your boyfriend is become a serious artist, with you his muse.
I agree with that comment: the world is going bonkers, weather wise. I’m concerned we’ve taken this global warming scare too seriously, and have literally reversed the process.
