Yo, Sydney, What Up

>> The tourist in me made me do this.  As well as squeal as we pulled up to the Overseas Passenger Terminal where the RAFW venue is based, and seeing the Sydney Opera House for the first time.  Alright, I'm here to work but I'm allowed a squeal or two… as wel as these "Yo, tourist here!" shots faciliated by Phil Oh of Street Peeper who caught me and all of my floaty grey along with a menacing rain cloud.  The second photo surely is the money shot.  I'm being blown away by the gusts of collective perfume fumes from all the fashionable people here.  Anyway, I'll just say it now – I'll only do the tourist shot once, PROMISE!

(Jennifer Loiselle headband, Emma Cook shirt, Zambesi tulle dress, Lucy Hutchings necklace, cream sequinned top underneath, Alpha 60 dress underneath, Vivienne Westwood x Melissa rocking horse sandals… yes, I realise that's a lot of layers, even for me but I couldn't resist with all the wispy greys…)

  1. The top shot is beautiful, the layers in your dress look like curls of smoke or cloud. Truly lovely.

  2. Stunning! It actually looks like you dressed for Sydney’s broody grey sky- or the sky dressed just to match you 🙂 really great photo’s and great ensemble. (I want those accessories n shoes n zambesi dress esp.!)
hope u enjoy it here in sydney 🙂

  3. You’re incredible. That very light shirt underneath the other is amazing. It looks like you are part of the clouds. It’s amazing how the menacing sky goes with your look perfectly!

(just now see that the above comment says almost the same thing. Well- it’s very true!)

  4. Hey beauty. If I met you there by accident that day I will definitely stop and look at you. Amazing outfit. Your hair and your smile just nice..

  5. OH the layers! the beautiful, flowy, sheer wondeder!!!! I love the many shades of gray and the way the headband looks like two fun buns (what a poetic rhyme) and! The chunky necklace is such a cool contrast. Thank you for inspiring me every day and reminding me why I can never go back to “conservative” dressing <3

  6. Brilliant ensemble! I particularly am in love with your shoes!!! Reminds me of Hermes (the deity not the fashion house). It was great seeing you repeatedly throughout the day! 🙂 xx

  7. You look so cute in those layers. This is my favorite look of you … it must be your smile and Australia sky all together!! 🙂 The necklace is an awesome touch-up!!!

  8. Fantastic outfit. It looks like a smoke cloud around you! And is not easy to get away with that much layers…but it looks so easy and fresh!

And I love the layers, they are certainly whispy and go very well together!
    xx

  10. That outfit is just beautiful Susie! and the intricacy, and the varying depth to the surfaces, is so interesting and satisfying! BTW, thanks for such a detailed report on the RAFW shows, you’re the radar, eyes and ears to those many of us in Oz not on the invite list.

  11. Your outfit looks like its emanating the sky behind you, its lovely. I’m envious both of your Westwood shoes and headband.

  12. I love the layers of gray – it seems to blend in with the ocean, and the storm clouds. The wispy layers themselves feel like clouds….
2nd picture – You look like a figure skater 😀

  13. I like the tourist shot!!! The outfit suits you so well. It’s amazing. <3
