>> Some of you commented that there was a bit of a disconnect between the Ksubi clothes and their 'One Over Zero' 10th anniversary show, which closed RAFW a few weeks back. I've been meaning get these up sooner because whilst I liked the theatrics of the show, the video montage, the models' entrance and the thumping soundtrack, even I found it a little difficult to get the detailed gist of the clothes watching it. Especially since what I spied backstage before the show was a little bit lost under the haze of the CCTV-style camera filming that was streamed as part of the show and the pace of the models.
For my selfish part, I'm only really concerned whether me and denim can get a bit chummier. We may have gotten to a bad start in my teens when I would grimace at denim counters in stores, wondering what fit, size, wash, style etc would be my 'dreeeeeaaaaam denim'. I'm supposedly older and errr… wiser so maybe denim is yet to come into my life…
One deet in particular that was blurred out of the show under the bright lights and fast pace, was this embossed texture that looks a little bit like a leaf pattern but could also be…. wait for it… bubble-fied denim! Which would mean, that perhaps, some of this stuff is perhaps fated to come my way to make for an interesting and texturised take on denim…
I prefer it on this darker slightly more acid-wash denim (am I even describing this correctly?!?) where the raised 'bubbles' are more prominent…
…though I like it on this white leather too…
Another denim deet to contrast the usual rip and shred style denim that they used was this floral pattern that makes denim look more brocade-y…
Despite the tentatively-bubble-related denim deet, I'm sadly ending on a non-denim note but hey, it's a navy blue leather bra…and you know how I feel about all things leather and slightly unexpected, plus of course it would layer up quite nicely alongside their denim counterparts…
These are gorgeous that bubbled denim is amazing! 🙂

The white leather is absolutely amazing! 😀 I love Ksubi… Xxxc
I love the bubbled leather, it’s like the perfect blend of bubble wrap and denim! So tactile, I just want to touch it!
All the denim detailing is making me rethink my own adversarial relationship with the material!
I love that detailing!

Loving these designs – I would love a pair of jeans made from the bubbly-style denim!
I’m loving denim this season. Right now I am wearing a cropped gray jean jacket from H&M.

oh I want the jeans bra, the bubbly one!
I think I will never feel the real love of denim even though I do it occasionally.
Those are peak-a-boo or outerwear bras, no doubt about it. I think I’d slap one over a strapless dress and make an empire style. Really cool..
Omg love those bras really sexy. I will buy them for sure.
wow! great denim work!
how did they do that??
