Bossing the Shoes

Oh great.  Another shoe site that will probably catch me out when I’m feeling direly sorry for myself at 2 am in the morning and there’s a floating credit card let out loose on my table.  The site of Shoe Runway itself isn’t anything frilly or fancy but look further and the designers it stocks are a not strictly speaking the usual suspects.  Sure they have Beatrice Ong, Georgina Goodman and Anya Hindmarch waving that British shoe designer flag.  But then you’ll find designers not widely found in the UK, people I’ve never even heard of – Berny Demore, Jean Michel Cazabat and Atelier Mercadel – funnily enough all French.  Names to remember I think going by their shoe designs.

However, the real *groan* I have with Shoe Runway is that they are stocking those Nicole Farhi embossed boots I yelped at when I saw them in Harpers Bazaar.  It is certainly most likely that I will be having those midnight fits and in a nervous tick of a moment, I’ll buy those boots goddamnit and have them sent by the fastest form of DHL.  I didn’t notice the colour but they come in this wonderful truffle shade that highlights the embossed pattern with hints of smudged bronze.

Nicole Farhi has also extended the embossing to some sandals which come in the truffle and in black.

Not wishing to associate Shoe Runway with nervous ticks and credit card hits, I will say that they also appear to offer free shipping worldwide (correct me if you attempt to order some shoes in your nervous fit and find a shipping fee staring back at you).  Also, as an end note, they sell the Jenne O silver lace-up shoes (the ones I bought) not at the bargainous price I got them for, but still very reasonable nonetheless.
