Jonathan Kelsey, the name had been bantered about for over six months now and I had been waiting for pictures to surface, to see them in person, a website to emerge for absolutely ages. He has been hailed as the Pierre Hardy or Christian Louboutin of Britain. Big titles to live up to hence why I have been so curious and finally, his shoes are available on Saks Fifth Avenue and are now in Harrods too. His website is still a bit of a shell, almost like they’re trying to shroud something because if you keep on refreshing the page, you get a different image from his collection come up which should give you an idea of what Mr Kelsey is all about. I can certainly see the comparisons with those French shoe greats, a cross-over between the two if you like. I guess the real test is the practical wear of them but for now, I’ll just marvel at the beauty and see whether all that hype does propel Kelsey into Louboutin-esque madness.

LOVING them!
I am loving the bottom right!!! 🙂
Just a question, are heels harder to walk in when they have those “starting off thick but ending pointy” heels (like above) or just a normal straight pointy heel? just wondering.
THIS is the person to be hailed as the ‘Christian Louboutin / Pierre Hardy of Britain…’ who started that rumour…not to be too harsh, but the shoes are cute…look like they are designed for the high street rather than harrods…
i saw these in joseph store at brompton cross… theyre amazing! and apparently almost sold out…
i’ve bought two pairs already (from harvey nichols – not harrods), they are very confortable, and i can safely say kelsey is the most exciting designer to come out of london for a very long time.
