>> Quick note to say that though I was planning on toddling down to H&M Oxford Circus with a mild curiosity in what sort of a turnout the Roberto Cavalli for H&M collection would have and also a teensy-tiny interest in the clothes themselves…in the end, I have decided to forgo the ‘madness’ (or there lack of…) and stay cosied up in my office. Apologies if readers were expecting some reportage… I just really could not muster the enthusiasm…
Bring on Miu Miu for H&M… (yes I wish…)…
Hey.I’ve got a question because of the fact that you live in London.
I’m going to be there next year, maybe Juny maybe September, but anyway, I want to know which places I really should go.
Not that Big Ben,London Eye,etc. thing.
The interesting places that really show London and of course where to shop best!
Thank You!
ha ha! I pulled rank and got to stay in the office too, but some of the other CQ girls headed down there. The video of Isabelle in head-to-toe animal print and a fringed jacket is priceless…
is cavalli today? god this one passed me by totally. that didn’t even happen with my mccartny malaise (but only because I worshipped the boscono ads post-‘kategate’)
the ruffled pink babydoll dress looks ind of nice. ish.
love,
Alex.
I don’t blame you. I had planned to go out of sheer curiosity, but after I’d seen the things on the website, I wasn’t interested anymore…
Why bother about going out to have a look at what’s going on in high street shops? Just go to http://www.fashion156.com and you will get all the best! The brand new issue is all about british high street fashion. Clothes for real people as a great alternative do designer stuff.
i know how you feel. I checked out the online stuff yesterday. Totally meh. The sad part is that it will probably sell well. Lot’s of girls out there who just want to sex it up.
Now Miu Miu, THAT’s an idea!
It’s all hype anyway, then you get there and have to fight with crowds. Not worth it!
I didn’t go to see the Cavalli stuff at H&M, too and I would really appreciate a coolaboration between H&M and Miu Miu!!
I decided to skip on this one too. Somehow it didn’t seem worth the trip and the crowds…Nothing caught my eye on the website to actually get me enthusiastic enough to go and see it “in person”
No blame is placed on you! It’s all hype anyways…
I agree..this time no interest. But curious as to crowd turnout (live in NYC). Walked by 51st & 5th H&M on way to work. long crowd but no fashion types that you saw with V&R and Stella..they were all new jersey type housewives and teens in their requisite “fancy sweats” and uggs.
i feel snobby saying this, but this collection was so tacky and isgusting and only for women who want to look rich and have no taste. those lepoard print trousers are actually sold out. how disgusting.
Haha. I went to work this morning instead of lining up at H&M. Well then I couldn’t help and went over to H&M during lunch break – just too curious! Well there still were some, well more or less “nice” animal printed jeans left, tons of teights, bras and… I don’t know – totally not my kind of style and way to pricy for a fun experiment… Cavalli simply isn’t my guy 😉
MIU MIU, hello!!! Over here, please!!!!
