>> People have been moaning at me for not updating My Style Diary and quite rightly so. I’ve been trying to figure out a way of posting up daily outfits without too much hassle and seeing as My Style Diary is looking a little crusty with the blurry pics and old house surroundings, I’ve decided to start a rather self-indulgent basic blog as an extension of Style Bubble called in a rather imaginative way ‘Style Bubble Daily Wear‘. Nothing fancy going on there, just a daily pic or two (depending on how many outfit changes the day invovles) with a list of what I’m wearing and a tiny note to accompany the pic explaining whatever arbitrary choice I’ve gone with. In the same way that I kept a style diary for personal perusing pleasure, this should be interesting as the months go on to see whether patterns, tendancies and habits emerge in my daily wear, all of which I will dissect in a scarily mathematical way. Just a few notes though…
1) Unlike other fash bloggers, I tend not to present myself in the absolute best light…lack of make-up, hair brushing/blow drying and general preening. The photos tend to be taken early in the morning or late at night so my main concerns are getting the pics done period, as opposed to making myself look fabby for them…. I apologise in advance.
2) I have a full time office job where I’m unable to turn up wearing EXACTLY what I want everyday but I try to take advantage and exploit the ‘smart-casual’ dresscode to the max.
3) I have turned on the comments feature and both compliments and constructive criticism are most welcome. I will however have to start comment moderation in the way that I don’t do on Style Bubble so anything that is deemed ‘troll-like’ will unfortunately get deleted. We shall see what happens though as I’m not a fan of deleting comments, whatever they may be.
I think it already looks great! great source of inspiration…
PS: where do you find the energy to do all this?? (pure envy)
Great idea. Posting outfits does feel “self indulgent” as you say but it’s amazing how useful it is, from a personal standpoint…plus, it’s great eye candy for the rest of us!
Another way to avoid my office work, wonderful!
Yippee! While I love your fashion commentary and intros to under-the-radar designers, my favorite part of this site has been seeing how you pull your clothes together – you make getting dressed in the morning look like so much fun!
Then I’m afraid you’ll be mighty disappointed because my outfits are a little on the blah side when it comes to day to day life…
You’re talking to the girl who has been living in either pajamas or her waitressing uniform for the past four days – anything that’s not the jeans/tee shirt/sneakers trap I get caught in too easily is an inspiration to me!
i don’t know how you do it all…
you are an indefatigable gal.
style diary resizing is always a pain…i gave up and just deleted everything. It’s great that you started ‘daily wear’ as it’s always great to see what amazing combination you have put together!
p.s I just started a blog, its not great, but if you ever have time take a look

TROLL TROLL TROLL TROLL TROLL TROLL TROLL
There was actually no point in that but,..i’m simply bored.
great idea! I can’t wait to check daily that blog to see your great outfits!
yay! look forward to following it!
Hooray! On Style Bubble, you don’t usually put where you got your garms, so I’m loving the nitty gritty details of the new blog.
Loveit loveit loveit.

yay! i’ve been suffering from your daily outfits for SO long, so this is wonderful!
whoops, i meant “i’ve been suffering from LACK of your daily outfits…”
Yay great idea! It’s good that you’re choosing to keep it basic too, I know the pain of having two blogs (one of them was a personal one, the other was the one you know), so keeping it simple is a good thing.
I started an account over on Style Diary, but never got round to using it. Always to busy looking at your pics and other peoples wardrobes.
I’m still trying to find the energy to take pics of my own outfits and keep it updated. If only as a way to document what I’m wearing, and make sure i’m not wearing the same thing too often – so people think I only have that one outfit.
It’s great you’re doing this. It’s always great to see how other people pull together outfits and the thoughts behind it.
Thanks for inviting us in and allowing us to be nosy.
I liked your idea so much that I felt inspired me to revamp my old blog!… I can’t seem to find the time to write about all of my fashion loves and inspirations, but I will start posting daily snapshots. What fun! Thanks for the insperation!
