Since I have no means to buy anything because none of my ATM cards have not yet come back into the comfort of my spending fingers, I THOUGHT I would wait out on the Celia Birtwell for Topshop collection until next week. WRONG! After receiving some Little Miss UPS requests from you lovely people, I decided to make some telephone enquiries to Topshop and surprise, surprise – IT’S ALL SOLD OUT! It’s also supposed to be sold online but no sign of it yet. Oh dear, I seem to be experiencing these mad shopping rushes more often than not.
However, the kind SA did tell me that deliveries would be arriving but as they say – the early bird gets the worm and unfortunately, I am permanently chained to my desk from 8 till 8 these days…..
Guess I shall have to be content with missing out on this one…..
**EDIT** 4 pieces are now available on the Topshop website but not the ones I want. I think we have a realtime-biting-your-nails-staring-at-the-screen situation here.
Hi there – I just wanted to post and say, I got to Top Shop Oxofrd Circus at 9.15am (I told work I was “running late”). When I got there I saw an empty area – and I mean totally empty, with some SA’s standing there re-dressing dummys. The collection sold out in 15 MINS!

Natty W – that is ridiculous! I did not think it was gonna be as popular as that…. ah well…. I’d rather not be swept up in the fever this time….I’m too old for all this!

I’m sure that if it’s nationwide, then like H&M’s Stella collection they will re-stock Oxford Circus from other branches in less, er fashion conscious places where most people have never heard of Celia Birtwell (you know the kinds of areas I mean – I’m trying not to offend anyone!) Still, they stand up as lovely pieces even without the name. Looks like it’s befriend a SA with delivery info time!
This doesn’t surprise me…*sigh*…although it makes me a little sad they didn’t anticipate the demand- oh poops!

R they available nationwide?! Really? I was told they had 150 pieces in the morning and 400 pieces in the afternoon. That’s all they have.
Btw apparently the morning collection was sold out within 5mins in the morning. : O
