100% missing 2%

The snail mail that I receive in Hong Kong periodically gets forwarded to me and I just got my latest batch this week with some very tempting catalogues and VIP card offers (many of the chain stores in Hong Kong offer VIP cards to their customers – apparently, as long as you can pay about USD20 a year, you’re an instant VIP….!).

I was looking over at the 2% (a sort of Hong Kong high street brand) catalogue and lamenting about why I can’t go back till August (even got a little weepy!).  Hong Kong is brilliant for shopping for cheap clothes that are very trend led.  Think Topshop, and then half or sometimes quarter the price.  It may not last very long but for faddy clothes I think thats perfectly ok.  Having said that, I’ve bought some ridiculously cheap things from Hong Kong that have lasted me to this very day despite heavy wear.  Hong Kong high street clothes also lean towards more interesting cuts or features because generally speaking, avant-garde design appeals to HK-ers due to Japanese influence as well.

Just some taster things that I want….
