This well laid out UK-based site, MacCulloch & Wallis, seems to have everything I would ever need to get my DIY fashoin projects underway. I was particularly engrossed by the metal findings section which to some people look like straight forward belt buckles, but I want to incorporate them into dress straps, attach belts onto skirts, update old camisoles, add and generally add utilitarian details with not a lot of effort. Or perhaps, it’s the pretty way they are photographed that makes me have so much gusto for DIY projects….

I love this site! I came across it a while ago when I was hunting for some very special buttons for some tops I was making. It is expensive compared to other haberdashers though.
this makes me want to move to London…

I’m seriously thinking about trying to make a belt for this fall …
very nice. i have this tendency to transform everything into earrings. and i mean everything. ha. so i think these metal buckles would make a very nice pair of earrings or necklaces. innovate. btw, i love your diy projects.
