Apologies for lack of posts/comments.  All will be back on track when I’ve recovered some sleep time now that I’m back in London… my eyes look so hollow and black, you could gouge them out.  My digital camera failed to start up so I’m also lacking in pics.  However, official camera-ry pics are infinitely better seeing as I have a tendancy to shake the camera all about…here’s a few from the Acne SS09 show which took place in Stockholm last night at the beautiful Acne headquarters…

More about my Acne SS08 cage skirt campaign later when I get more pics of my outfit from other streetstyle sources (so many many streetstyle snappers at Stockholm Fashion Week!)… and oh yeah, more coherent words later too because right now, this is becoming a little filler-y which I hate hate hate but alas, I’m just tired tired tired…

  7. When I first saw the cage skirt I was a bit doubtful of how practically it could be worn over things, but it’s brilliant. It’s floral enough for summer without overdoing it.

  12. The cage skirt and jacket really are perfection. And Acne’s HQ exteriors look surprisingly…flourishy for Acne (I think I was expecting something more like my idea of Scandinavian design- all minimalist and cool, but it’s a fab-lloking exterior all the same)
    PS: does your new job at Dazed mean you won’t be reporting for Fashion 156 any more? It just struck me..

  19. From what I can tell from the picture (which is a great shot of you, by the way) you’re outfit looks fantastic. The floral cage skirt really stands out against the black.

  34. I am envious thst you got to go to Stockholm. The name of this event is strange to me, considering that acne hear in the US usually means a faceful of pimples.

    by the way, speaking!!! did you see the pictures from jean paul gaultier’s fall couture show?!?!!? it’s ALL cagey and the skirts and pants (with cagey waist-bands are AMAZING!!!!! and the cage dresses… the dresses!!! i’m about to roll over and foam from my mouth. they are so gorgeous!! i am so inspired to draw up some designs now!!
