>> I'm REALLY hoping the name of Supermarket Sarah was derived from the fabness that was Dale Winton's Supermarket Sweep (the Brit version, not the US…). Because that would complete today's chain of being reminded of happy times and random things. Supermarket Sweep of course took up a lot of my procrastinations time during my GCSE and A-Level revision time, with many an hour spent watching contestants trying to scoop as much generic/non-branded groceries into their trollies.
Thankfully though it's only the name that bears resemblance to that show of yesteryear, and that Sarah is not sporting a perma tan and stiff wig like hair a la Winton and is in fact a Portobello Road vintage stall-holder who's just launched her very cute website that hits you with a plethora of things on the homepage that is styled as below. Roll 'yer mouse over a certain item and ye can click through. Pretty straight forward stuff… I already spy some Clegerie Oxfords, a stunning Victoria Grant swirly dyed hat and an oversized chain embroidered cardi that I want. The selection online is actually a mix of new, old, customised, hand-made, curios etc etc which gives Sarah more things at her disposal to style her living room wall, the space you see below in different ways according to her mood.
Love the styling. Also: Supermarket Sweep cheers me up when I watch it on Challenge TV in my PJs or whatever – Dale Winton is a neglected national treasure. 🙂

Would love those Robert Clergerie Oxfords but I’m a size 6 (boo)…. already have a few Clergerie shoes, they just get better with age. If you’re a 4 just buy them- buy them- buy them!!
Susie, thank you for the link, I don’t know how you find the time to dedicate to all this amazingness!
Those are fab! And is really beautiful!

That is such a great idea! If only those oxfords weren’t in a teensy size 6. 🙁
I love things like this 🙂
I’ve see Supermarket Sarah all over the web. Her unique e-shop concept is really making an impact.
Cute! Such a fun & fab idea! 🙂

Glad she added Click Items to Buy. I have been seeing her shop in posts all around but thought it was an actual store to go to not online. I have to check out the shop now, thanks!
How cool!!! I love a great concept for a shop.
Haha, it is a very cool concept. I feel like stores such as Urban Outfitters have stolen concepts like these and implemented them into their catalogues and stores.
I doubt I could pull off any of these things, but a girl can dream, right…?
The idea of selling this way is pretty cool. Susie, you really are an ace at finding the most different things out there.
LOL re memories of Supermarket Sweep – brilliant.
