>> It's just as well that I've been unable to type at normal speed and fluidity seeing as the day has been rife with distractions. This morning, the people from Smart dropped off the Dazed-customised SMART car at the office which caused a bit of an internal photo frenzy. Gary Card, who's a regular Dazed/Another collaborator came up with the mad design for the car. Felt like the only doofus in the place that can't drive (I'll say it again…I'd be a danger to myself and others on the road…). You may see this colourful thing whizzing around London doing fashion returns/repro runs….
Speaking of the cardmeister, I'm sure a lot of you have already seen these pics by The Selby of Gary and his partner's apartment… a few questions need to be asked about the ma-hussive primary coloured platforms I think…
I would get a drivers license just so I could drive this car.
I’m starting to think the same thing about myself + cars with each failed drivers exam, ha! as for the design, I love all the bright colors…the toys and and piles of stuff in that apt kind of remind of a grown up playroom.
ouh, I cant drive either… 🙁 those things makes me want to do something about it though
I can’t drive either and I’m 24. The idea freaks me out too much. It kind of traps you into only living in huge cities with good public transportation, though.
love that car!! i have a smart but i prefer with color!!
about your friends room, i really like the decoration, really personal and special!
Oh those platform shoes are…are…hot.

That’s one snazzy vehicle!
Seriously, I don’t want to drive, but I think I might have just changed my mind.
AY-MAZING! Love the apartment and the car. Who gets to drive it?
Zoiks! Too colorful. I’d get a migraine if I live in that place.

I want to drive it!!!! It looks so cool!!!!
Can you imagine how amazing cities would look if colourful patterns were the norm for cars?
But I guess one would get tired of the pattern after a few years, the lifetime of a car is much longer….they (whoever they are…) need to invent some sort of high tech surface that is programmable, so you could change the colour/pattern of your car on a whim. Might make your car hard to find in a parking lot though if you forgot you had changed the colour…
I LOVE Gary Card!! His work (and evidently his apartment too!) is amazing. What a great car!!
Colour colour colour. I like it!
I HATE smart,
But if this paintjob was on any other car, I’d love it 😛
I don’t drive for exactly the same reason…I’m dangerous enough on a bicycle…I’d kill someone if I got behind the wheel of a car…
Who customised the car? was it Smart or an outside company, its really great.
