Put a Handle On It

> I've been laden with new buys, new thangs and new bits of loveliness to post and yes, I do realise that sounds incredibly brattish and pompous "Oh poor me… too many goodies in the wardrobe and not enough time to post about them…".  FOOL!

Still, when it comes to accessories, I've always been a bit stumped… especially in the err…bag area.  I nearly guffawed when a Hong Kong magazine asked me to list out my collection of 'IT' bags… err… whatty?!?

Still, an accessories label from Brazil, Ad√¥ Atelier has taken pity and must have made a slight mou face at my distinct lack of baggage.  So a boxy clutch winged its way over to me and come night time when heavy totes full of papers aren't required, I can downsize my baggage to the following (yes, I do realise there are shopping discount cards there but hey ho, longer shopping hours means more quiet late night shopping…and you know…insane Topshop urges might be in order at say 9pm…)…

… and go out with a beautiful box attached to my hand…

Their website is a bit of a shell at the moment but I'm also loving their other clutch options too which will have me skipping about without bag marks on my shoulders…

Adoclutches

So, the hands are sorted.  Moving up the limbs, I've found the perfect arm decoration that basically means the rest of my outfit could be a blah-blah horrid mess.  I was lucky enough to roadtest Natascha Stolle's new HUB collection for ASOS which is dropping online in November and this series of leather bangles, leather gloves with bangles and leather arm warmers with, yes, more bangles seem to work solitarily or jumbled up together.  On a practical level, once the night chill falls, they also offer up protection when worn all together.  Oh and if I was taking these pics at night, I'd like to break out with some mad shadow puppeteering skills too…

    but the gloves! the gloves! they are sooooo cool!
    to tell the truth, i also picked up a lot of stuff recently, was it the travelling? or was it merely just being out of the house and out and about that did it? who knows?

  5. Those leather “sleeves” are cool.
    Balenciaga has been doing nice colorful woven leather like this. I guess BV’s been doing similar for years. I love the look.

  7. That box is very beautiful indeed! It’s gorgeousss. I had the most horrendus bag mark on my arm today, not a good look, so clutches are deffinitely looking attractive to me.

  16. Those gloves are gorgeous. I love the bangle detail. I’m not normally one for leather gloves, but I may have to check these out on ASOS when they arrive.
