Paris Fashion Week S/S 10 Day 1 Rush

>> Yes I know it's day 3 and yes, I keep rolling out the same effing excuses and yes, this blog is looking like a more and more like the "Me Me Me Susie" show but I'm just gonna say this now that this week is a write off as I'm understaffed for work and frankly my head is busting from something throbbing that I don't know what that's rendering me useless for anything but work.  Oh and the fact that I haven't had a proper vegetable yet…

This was my easing-into Paris Eurostar-to-shows outfit and so I look a tad bedraggled… but I'd like to introduce you to my new pet… Natalia Brilli's clutch and no I'm not going to give the bag a name because I think some kid from My Sweet 16 did that and it freaked the hell out of me…  beyond the beautiful hairy quality of it, it's a ROOMY clutch and fits precisely seven invitations and all the essentials required…

Oh and it was a nice surprise to find that Tommy of Jak and Jil had chucked this picture over to Style.com and it's high time I officially congratulated him on his new assignment as their streetstyle documentor… he's chuffed, I'm chuffed, there's a gaggle of peeps wanting to be snapped by him following him…it's all good and gravy…. except my expression here which says to me "I'm lost in Paris, I look like a tourist and god this phonecall is costing me an arm and a leg" (FYI ¬£1 = EUR1…. OUCH!!!!!!!!!!)

    I don’t know how you manage to do all the things you do and still find time to blog, so don’t stress! We’ll all still be here when you get round to posting.

  14. Enough with the apologies. If people don’t like what you write, they don’t have to read it. Maybe you have some voice in your head that’s telling you what you “should” be doing. If you’re not careful before you know it you’ll get “should” all over yourself! Didn’t you ever spend time with a person who apologises too much “sorry, sorry” for things that don’t need to be apologised for… Was that in itself irritating? Please don’t start being sorry for being sorry or I think my ears will start bleeding.

  17. Oh, I do love those tights but I don’t know about the bag. I think I might feel like I was carrying around my cat. Is there a shoulder strap in there somewhere so you can free up your hands? You look marvelous, though — everyone’s right — it’s your blog, post what you want. (And if you get a chance, go to Ladur√©e and have a palmier for me. Argh, I want one right now!)

  27. Aside from a few spammers here and there, everyone who reads your blog LOVES hearing more about you! It would be one thing if your style were repetitive and boring but it’s NOT and we all love seeing what you’re wearing! Plus, we all know your super busy right now and don’t really have time to do intensive research on brands. We know! We don’t care! We love what you wear! No need to apologize.
    As for the outfit, I love how your white skirt cleans up the grunge/goth implications of the rest of your outfit. Lovely!

  36. hahaah!!! i can totally imagine people following tommy around!!
    when i used to live in tokyo, i had a friend who was a regular street style model, and 2 friends who were street snap photographers for japanese magazines, so often i would go with them to hang out and people-watch in the streets of harajuku. it’s always interesting, and at times we would play the game of “let’s count how many times this person ‘casually’ walks by”. it’s really funny!!
    if i ever met tommy, i think i would just like to tell him how i enjoy the pictures he takes of shoes and can he please teach me how to use my camera. lol.
