>> I don't normally plug the work stuff too much, lest I get accused of "selling out" (most oft-misused phrase in the world, no?).  But here I'm selling in the name of charideeeeeeeeeee…… namely War Child… and it also happens to tap into the whole "What animal tee are you – gorilla or croc?" profound question that has been popping up of late.

Dazed & Confused have partnered up with Edun to create these series of t-shirts/dresses, with the fashion team at Dazed working closely with illustrator Jo Ratcliffe to get the right 'roar' and level of 'visciousness' on the zebra, snake, lion and leopard heads.  15% of all proceeds will go to War Child, who are currently working on projects in Congo and the tees are 100% organic cotton and made in Peru… there's yer' green/clean/kind statements out of the way.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty though… what sort of an animal am I?  I'm no majestic lion nor am I a lithe leopard and the snake is frankly a little too terrifying to wear.  No, it had to be the gawky zebra that also has the look of a wild-eyed, deranged donkey… if I hark back to my braces-wearing, buck-teeth phase, I could ALMOST morph into said zebra…perfecto!

Oh, more offi-ciel info.  All tees are now available to buy at Edun Online but if you want to go try them on in person (they look much better on than as flat shots, it has to be said…), they're also available from Selfridges on their new 3rd floor Central bit in a special pop-up shop and failing all of that, you can get them from Saks Fifth Avenue from the 29th October.

  1. This is such a great idea – chairity tee-shirts you will actually wear! I always buy them for a good cause but they are never something I would wear or buy otherwise, these however are really gorg! Hmmm but which animal am I?!!?

  2. Why are the charity clothes always t-shirts? Couldn’t they give a donation when they sold a good button-front blouse or superb pencil skirt? I’d get a lot more wear out of something like that than a t-shirt. That said, I like these more than most — love those big kitties.

  3. I am so for the snake tee. I kind of have a snake fetish, and that t-shirt is just calling for me. My second pick would be the zebra, for sure. Btw, I don’t think I ‘ve EVER seen an outfit of your this paired down… and it doesn’t look a bit odd! I think this just proved that you can “pull off” anything. That’s my firm beleif and I’m sticking to it 😉

    i love acne shoes.

  5. awesome. i agree with the zebra choice. and as other people have said already… the shoes are to die for.

  6. I love those! The snake one is fierce though i’d be too afraid to wear it so I’d propably go for the panther.

  7. The snake one scared me.
I really don’t like animal print tees which is a shame as the cut is good. I’m sure they’ll be a hit. My dislike of animal digital prints on clothes is probably like your aversion to cheese!

  8. Methinks I’d want the snake. As for what I actually am, well, thats a different matter!

  9. I love these T-shirts. I working on my own T-shirts with spray paint to give it the street look. Stay tuned for it.
What would be really cute with your outfit is if you put a belt on too.

  10. Susie, I think you’re beautiful! And knowing that you had an awkward past just makes you more so.

  11. Love the Zebra tee dress and the lion tee shirt. Great cause I think I might have to get myself one.
