Longings Fulfilled

>> I've somewhat lost my writing mojo due to a) my ears being boxed to death by the chilly winds and b) well… there's an odd subdued mood going around New York Fashion Week at the moment.  I'll be back to regular sized posts but for now… I'm thankful that lengths are getting longer… it's sort of like I'm willing skirt lengths to drop drop drop and what do you know, they have…

  1. that red kao dress is stunning….as a shorter, heavier-hipped person, i’m still trying to figure out the long maxi look…anyway suggestions?

  2. Love the first skirt.
Know what you mean it seems to bleak to write and yet it has to continue.
Get some ear muffs – you don’t what ear ache!

  3. Long skirts and dresses are defiantly a look I have been leaning towards as of late. They have an aura of effortless elegance about them

  4. I love long skirts too. It was kinda crazy yesterday I wore one to work, then came home and watched the shows. It’s like I was projecting the shows without even knowing what was in them. I guess I am a fashion Psychic. Glad you are on the same boat, long skirts are great. I am also really excited about the slightly cropped pants I was seeing too.

  5. Hi Susie, I’m a Womenswear student at London College of Fashion 🙂
I’m definitely feeling the long skirts vibe & have been looking at a 30s Hollywood glamour theme in my graduate collection. I’m loving Gilbert Adrian as well as the Hollywood screen sirens Jean Harlow, Marlene Dietrich etc. And the Parisians – Vionnet & Schiaparelli….Such glamour and grace -so feminine yet so strong and seductive! 🙂 These Jen Kao dresses really reflect that mood.

  6. I’m so glad also. I’ve been wearing a full length tee dress all Australian summer but it’s been a touch too hot for that. And most of what we have here that’s on offer are horrible maxi style spaghetti strapped horribly printed monstrosities.
Can’t wait for these looks to come out they’re wonderful

  7. Beautiful dresses by Jen Kao. I want now not in the Autumn!
