>> You've seen the lookbook images, you've seen the video, you've seen the cut-out shots, gosh it's all out there and it's instilling a sense of urgency within you that 23rd November cannot come soon enough.  You're alotting funds.  You're working out times to get out there, best stores to go to and all of that jazz.  I'm sorry to say that I'm adding to that with a pic fest here from the press day today and also affirming that yes, most of it is BETTER than I thought it could be and in some ways comparable to the real thing in terms of fabrication, cut and finish.  Nuff' said.  No more talking.  Just get organised for the 23rd.  Oh, FYI, in case it may have weirdly passed you by (if you're online in any capacity browsing fashion, I don't see how it could have passed you by…), this is the Lanvin x H&M collaboration I'm talking about and frankly, I'm not being hyperbolic for no reason.  I was an initial skeptic that experienced instant conversion upon real life touching, feeling and seeing…

  4. you pretty much described me on your post. have been trying endlessly to find funds, to think which store would be best and almost wanting to rip my insides everytime pics like yours show up.
    and, honestly, i know you have amazing taste and if you say they’re better than you thought, i’m a firm believer. and i’m pretty much panicking now. 🙂
    tomorrow i’m heading to h&m here (barcelona) to check in which store they’ll have the whole collection – that is if they’ll receive it. if they don’t, i dunno what i’ll do… maybe get a plane ticket to london.
    but anyway, thanks for the pics – and your insider info on the quality of the goods. they look amazing on photos and i’d hate to queue for hours and have some horrible stuff waiting for me.

  9. I think that is the most beautiful colelction that a big brand makes for H&M. Love the use of tulle and the patchwork…Is everythin so Lanvin but with a lovely touch of “chep H&M”…Amazing!! Only ELbaz could make something so beautiful…

Escalante Blogger: To that I would say this… a mainlin Lanvin blouse or tee is about ¬£300 to 500+ and the H&M x Lanvin version is a tenth of that price… and for me, it’s certainly NOT a tenth of the quality… Therefore I’d say there’s definitely value there if you crave the Lanvin brand… but I guess if you’re not bothered about the label and going purely on aesthetics, then that’s a different thing…

  13. Susie did the H&M PR people say anything that they were going to do against all those ebay hoarders? I know that this is going to be terrifying here in New York and frankly I don’t know if I can deal with the shitshow thats bound to go down. You’ve seen the video on youtube of people fighting in NY over a CDG x H&M scarf!

  15. I really love this line. Since I’m in Sweden at the moment I went to the press event for H&M/Lanvin in Stockholm yesterday and found several pieces that I will definitely buy. Just feels like such a long time until they are out in stores =)

  17. Dying for this collection to hit stores! An H&M just opened near me so I cannot wait to snag me some Lanvin Pour H&M clothes! For the girl who adores Alber Elbaz but lacks the dough to spend on such a brand, it really is fabulous to have all the look and style of the brand but without bankrupting myself 🙂
