It's one of those vids that will never fail to make me snort with ugly laughter and also forms the perfect backdrop soundtrack to this picture here where I am in fact wearing head to toe jewel-toned S/S 11 Gucci (minus the Christian Louboutin blue shoes) in Glamour's Y&P campaign shot by Garance Dore – yes, apparently the young and posh wears Gucci…. or is it Gucky?  Gooki?  If I took the head to toe loadful of Gucci seriously, I just wouldn't be able to forgive myself.  Therefore in my head, the pic needs to go with Franco's Gooki spiel…

However I can take this particular bit of Gucky seriously, with this floral scarf, which came as a thank-you from the Gucci/Gucky/Gooki for partaking in a round table discussion with bloggers back in February in New York.  That is serious stuff.  ROUND table.  DISCUSSION.  ISSUES.  Hammers on tables.  A 360 circle with bloggers and Gucci peeps dotting each segment talking in earnest about all things social media.  Alright, maybe the circle wasn't 100% perfect.  Maybe it was more like an oval.  These things are getting hazy on me.  Not sure how they guessed that the Gucci Flora pattern (originally designed for the Princess Grace of Monaco) is something that I've always been a little obsessed with, but it slots perfectly with my Crockett & Jones embroidered slippers…

  4. The Louboutins don’t seem very “Susie” in this outfit (wholly my opinion) ‚Äî though you do look ace in them! Just never thought I’d see you in proper fuck me stilettos (you probably have before as your style is so fluid) but I always see you as a “chunky heel” girl…. lovely colours and great outfit regardless! x

  18. i wasn’t a big fang of the collection (actually, not a fan of gucci in general – since tom ford left) BUT: you look absolutely stunning here in gucci! that jacket – throw it onto anything and you’ll be fabulous. have to have a closer look next time in the mall…

  29. When I read ‘head to toe Gucci’ i thought ‘not sure about that’ but then I scrolled down and my jaw dropped – you look amazing! Colour blocking always looks great on you but this outfit is so well cut it is just perfect and its not in-your-face-Gucci at all! you look brilliant! I had a proper moment where i got all worked up trying to figure how i was going to somehow emmulate this ensemble myself! x
