Guess Who?

>> Thanks to Milan's party Pied Piper Marcelo Burlon, I got to see a different side to Milan tonight that didn't involve ra-ra drinks at the Principe di Savoia, dainty canapes and suited and booted dudes that look at you like you're crazy in your lime green Nikes (more about my trainer-fixation later…).  Down by the buzzy area of the canals, streetwear store SlamJam played host to Craig Redman's first solo exhibition 'Protagonist' in Italy.  Some of you will know Redman's work from Darcel Disappoints where one single googly eye never looked so good in his many guises.  Redman also works with Karl Maier from separate locations on joint graphics projects as duo Craig & Karl.  These portraits of Italian fashion luminaries stem from an body of portrait work that has seen the likes of Kanye and Keith Haring rendered in Redman's unique heavy black outlines, patterns and slightly bizarre colour blocking.  No prizes for guessing who these peeps are but feel free to test yourself, give yourself a gold star and then sneakily look at the answers in fine print below…
