Duh Brain DIY

>> This is just a note of self-satisfaction really… If I DIDN'T complete the slight alteration on these shoes after Eugene and Boris from EVSR added the extra inch of platform to the shoes, then I'd be the laziest bum there is because all I did was bung some rope trim on with E6000 glue (at the advice of Angie…)… 

I may be DIY lazy these days but this was just a finishing touch doddle… yeah, that's me.  Leave all the hard nitty gritty work to others and I'll just go and put the superfluous bow on top…

And a wee note… which sort of both saddens and annoys me… M&J Trim in New York does beat many of our haberdasheries in London (not counting the tucked away wholesalers…).  It lacks the charm of VV Rouleaux or MacCulloch & Wallis but in breadth of stock and variety, it's extraordinarily well stocked.  I bought a plethora of straw options which I don't need now but they'll find a home somewhere else…
