Be-Cos

Be-Cos

I heart COS
…COS they humbled me and my opinionated ways when I was first skeptical about the concept of COS (first impression: 'pricy, simplified H&M') and I did a 180 degree turnaround to being a converted fan…
…COS for S/S 09 their sheeny shiny skirt is a delicious shade of blue and with its chunky elasticated ruched waist, it's dying to be clashed with hot pink, coral orange, mustard, emerald and all other brights lurking in my wardrobe…
…COS a sheer knit skirt is crying out to go over neon hot pants and yes, I'm investigating La Senza and sex shops for options despite the fact that people might laugh when I ask 'Um do you have hot pink hot pants?'…
…COS I haven't worn a matching skirt and top in a loong time since my Minnie Mouse sweater and skirt combos that I busted out with when I was 9 and I just might start with the mustard square blocked ensemble…
…COS a nude silk dress that's already been expertly draped and twisted saves me from trying to wrestle with slippery chiffon in my DIY attempts…
…COS there's grey jersey…in a short sleeved jacket…that needs no further explanation really…
…COS their 50% off sales don't mark down the prices on the tags and it gives me joy halving prices in my head…
…COS they're expanding with more stores in London (but why not go State-side or further afield in the UK?) which means more chances of COS action…
…COS the quality is VISIBLY noticeable and gives me delusions that I'm some sort of sensible shopper and taking my quarter of a century age seriously….

Yup, COS is my fave high street store. The staff in there are really attentive too, makes shopping fun.

I wish they had an online store, for those of us state-side. I MUST have that sheer skirt and grey jacket, it looks like something Loeffler Randall might have done.

am a big fan of cos and several of these pieces. my only gripe is the sizing. everything comes up very big and there are many people shorter/skinnier than me.
still, the drapey dress on the bottom right will be investigated.

Ooh! I too wish they had an online shop, I always love their pieces when I get to see them online or in a mag, and am sad I didn’t get time to pop my head in when I was last in London. Hopefully this year! 🙂

I love COS! If only we had it in the US, sigh. But I will not say that ever again about COS on your blog because I know it must get very annoying to have Americans constantly complaining about Brits-only stuff.

It’s minimal and sophisticated.I can imagine Michelle Obama in the blue dress and the grey jacket like top. Cant wait for the 20th Jan to see what she will be wearing. Anyways City magazine are looking for fashion interns and concepts Nyc are looking for fashion design assistant.http://jobstaxi.com/viewjob.php?jobid=110218

I love that tulip-ey dress, though it shows off the inner thigh which is pretty much my worst asset. cneeon had something similar a few seasons ago.
I really love sheer shirts. If I ever had the courage, I’d stock up on those and some VPL pants

Very curious about the texture of that blue skirt. The sheen of it is making me think of some weird satin/leather hybrid!
