Be my Valentine!

Be my Valentine!

Fashionologie and myself seem to be having a bit of a Valentine Fillol Cordier fixation at the moment.  I can’t help but add to the "Valentine" pot by posting these wonderful pictures from the new Lula magazine (a serious serious must buy – will be Lula-fying more later!).  I almost did not recognise Valentine with those Farrah Fawcett style flicks but I love the styling and concept of the editorial – Bright Lights, Big City – "There’s plenty of places to hide when you are looking to be lost."  Something very true about London – the nooks, crannies and crevices.

There’s just something special about the girl that I can’t quite put my finger on.  I also love this little snap of Valentine and Jamie Ince (a la The Kills!) taken at the Lula launch party:

Where-abouts do you get all of your magazines, i can’t find any of them in Leicester or Birmingham, perhaps i need to make a two day trip down to london. Oh it would be so much easier just living there.

^Elizabeth, have you tried big branches of Borders? That would be the place to find the less-commong fashion magazines. But yes, London is fashion magazine haven. I don’t even go to Borders because I prefer the independent art/fashion bookstores like Clare de Rouen, OFR Books and Magma.
